A Quiet Evening at Home

What is that old Santa verse about the children all nestled safe in their beds while visions of sugar plums dance in their heads. Well, I wish you all good visions tonight as you prepare for a wonderful Christmas celebration with your families.

Yesterday was a splendid day with all of you here and Dad and I enjoyed every minute of it. You all are special, each and everyone of you.

Tim is back home tonight with Jodi, Roberta and family, Kelly and Bill are celebrating their first Christmas together and I'm sure that Scott and Stephanie are getting ready for Santa Claus at their house. Katie is with her dad and Josh is celebrating with the whole Binkley Clan. All is well with the McMurdo family.

Dad and I are lucky and we will both sleep with good memories of our family on this Christmas Eve.

2 days till Christmas & Scott has something new on his list....

We only have 2 days left till Christmas and I just noticed that Scott has something new on his list. So...if you have Scott's name, you might want to take note that all that Scott wants for Christmas is one of Uncle Booger's Bumper Dumpers....don't leave Scottt dissapointed on Christmas morning...

If you're not too cheap and have an extra $5, you might want to order the roll holder accessory...it's only right don't you think?

Now, I don't want you to get the impression that my brother is some kind of backwoods hick...I also noticed that his list has a request for some monogrammed TP from Kleenex..only $4.95...now how can you beat that?

time to begin again.....

I love the beginning of things.....

I love it when Jodi and I are at the beginning of a new trip. The plane has just landed, we have the rental car and we sit for a second, look at the map and decide where we want to go. We can go anyplace we want, we're not on a schedule and the world is ours.

I love a new project at work. The boss lays out the goals and I have complete creative power to get the job done any way I want.

Jodi loves the beginning of a new bag of chips. She loves that moment when you open the bag and all the air comes out of it, filling her nose with the aroma of barbecue or salt and vinegar. Jodi loves the beginning of a bag of chips so much that within a few minutes of us getting home from the grocery store, she has opened every bag of chips we've bought, eaten 2 chips out of each and closed the bag with a chip clip. Its the beginning of the bag she likes most.

I hope that all of you like beginnings as well, because this is the beginning of our new family blog. Let's take a second and open the map and decide where we want to go....

We are back on blogger because we all loved the simplicity of this system over the system we went to. Posting is easy, including pictures is easy & we like easy.
