Hello all,
a little late but better than even not here some pictures of the two Americans. One thing I can say is that we so far had a wonderful time. You know that I like Big Tim but I like Tom as well – he really is a nice guy and we had lots of fun. Sunday was a nearly perfect day although I thought it would be not, when I went out to buy our breakfast and saw fog only. An hour later the sun came out and was shining all day long. We made a trip to Rhine river and showed Tom the “Loreley” and Jo as our scout again took us to places I’d never been before. I think the McMurdo twins will tell you all about when they're back. Tomorrow we will go to a castle and will have a Pizza in the evening as a good finnish of the entire trip. I’m the only one who still is awake and I feel it’s time to follow the others in my bed.

I just wanted to stop by for a minute and let you know that Tom arrived home safe and sound. As I type this, he is having an afternoon snooze with a big black and white cat stretched out full length beside him.
ReplyDeleteWe spent the morning looking at pictures and telling stories of what each of us had seen over the past two weeks.
The views of the mountains, lakes, rivers and countryside are breathtaking and we still have more pictures to see.
Holgar and Katie, Joe and Jeanette and Jasmine and the others, thank you so much for treating my "boys" like kings while they were there.
This was a trip and an experience that will probably be the highlight of Tom's life.

I'm glad you and Tom arrived well (I didn't fall off the rollercoasters, too ;) ) and really looking forward to Juli when you and Josh will be back again.

ReplyDeleteIn 89 days, 10 hours and 23 minutes we are in the civil registry office (in the Freusburg)...
ReplyDeleteand in 90 days, 14 hours and 23 minutes the service begins! (and 2 hours later the party :O) )
And how about you? How many days left til you visit us again?
61 days until we land in Europe. I am toying with staying a few days in Switzerland first & then going by train to Germany.
