I was so embarrassed when I noticed that there were so many new posts and comments in the blog... until that, I thought I'd get an email as soon as something happens here. So please forgive me that I was absent for so long.
Tim, I love your new blog with all your books! I'm gonne think of one myself. And yes, our arrangements for the wedding are all working out well and I'm really really looking forward to August... I can't even tell you. If you like to, you can have a look at our homepage at a new, there are pictures now and a video (you don't have to understand German): www.hochzeit-des-jahrhunderts.de . Also, I was at the barber and this is how my hair is going to look like (you have to look at the bottom cause I don't manage to go on writing under the pictures):
We hope to be proud lessees (right word?) of the apartment of our dreams in two weeks.
There are so many news and stories and plans to tell, we are all very busy, but I don't want to do it here... lack of privacy. But how are you doing?
@ Judee: we got Tom's and your letter, thank you very much (especially from my parents)! And you don't have to be embarrassed because of your try at German (I don't always know what I'm telling either... often I know a word but I don't know what it relly means to native speakers, you understand what I want to say?)but nevertheless it was really funny reading your post! I corrected the text into real German, and then I used the tool to translate this text back into English, here it is, maybe now you get the feeling:
"Jasmin, I wanted you in the blog on German welcome. I can only with the translation tools make the tim blog has put in place. I count the days until your wedding and it does not last much longer. I rise again soon." ;) but thank you a lot for welcoming me so friendly! I'm gonna write you an email soon and respond to all the things you told me.
And could somebody explain these dancing-pictures to me?
So see you soon, I'm going to sleep now,
Jasmin :O)
ps: Tim, I found a title: Superbride me- the truth about getting married
and pps: the invitations are coming soon (translation included)

Jasmin!
ReplyDeleteVery nice updoo ( a slang word for hair that is piled on top of you head, almost allways for formal occasions). I'm glad that the wedding plans are going well. Josh and I are really excited that we can be there to see you walk down the isle.
Tom and Judee are on a short holiday and probably won't say hello until they get back later this week. Jodi and I had a really nice visit from them this past weekend.
Lessees - is correct, but we would usually use the word renters instead.
Tim
Hey Tim! Thank you very much for the book :O)
ReplyDeleteOur invitations are finished now... could you please give me your and your Dad's address so I can send you one?
two more questions:
- could you please explain the "Lance Andrew Boyle" to me?
- and what's "walking down the isle"?
Sorry... didn't find it in the dictionary :D
We are doing fine, very busy, happy. Tell Josh if he likes to we (Martin and me)can consider visiting this theme park in July together with him: http://www.heidepark.de/index.php?id=2&L=2

I don't think any body has told you yet, but I am not coming over in July. Sorry!
Instead, Josh and I will be at your wedding in August!
"Walking down the aisle" is another way of saying "getting married"
I am Lance Andrew Boyle, it is a kind of joke. I use the name on the book covers.
I am glad that you are doing well and busy. Your wedding will be here before you know it. Give your mom and dad a big hug for me. Even your dad! And scratch Aldo on the ears for me.
Tim
Jasmin....
ReplyDeleteHer is Mom & Dad's address:

I spoke with them last night. They have gotten back from their holiday trip and had a wonderful time, but now they are tired. Thye have a second home in the North Georgia mountains and are thinking of going up there to rest until the weekend. Knowing them, they might also decide to just stay home and work in the garden all week.
Tim
Well GREAT!! :O) I'm so happy about that, it's terrific! And don't worry about me knowing it (Dad told me), now I can be happier a longer time :)
ReplyDeleteThen you can be with us at the civil registry office. And I don't have to send you the video because you're present. And it's gonna be great.
Thank you for the addresses, too. I don't know how long a letter needs over the ocean, but you are going to get them soon. Yeah, Judee already told me about the mountains and how much they love being there.
Great you're coming.
Jasmin
ps: you know, for example, my best friend Maja can't be present our wedding day because she's doing a social year in Africa and can't leave (she should have been my witness). When we planned the wedding day and she planned Africa, the organisation she's working for planned another date of departure, but then it changed and the dates didn't match anymore, and another friend of mine is in Brasil, and the fact that you wouldn't be there was sad, too, but I couldn't tell you because then you would have been sader, too, but now I can tell you because you're coming and that's great. I hope you understood... I wrote without thinking about it.
But how come your plans have changed?
Jasmin, I think you have friends all over the world. :)
ReplyDeleteJosh's school plans changed, so August opened up. I asked him if he would mind changing the dates so that we could see you get married and he thought that was a great idea.
I know that you will be very busy during the time we are there. I don't want you to worry about that, just have a great time because your wedding will be very special.
Tim
:O)
ReplyDeleteI wont't worry, I know that you understand me and I know that you are going to have a lot of fun. Holger, Kate and little Schmurzel ( and a lot of ohther people I like) are sitting next to you.
I'm supposed to tell you hi from Martin.
See you very soon :)
Little Shcmurzel? I like that... little Schmurzel.
ReplyDeletePlease tell Martin Hello from us as well.
